Questions
Is Pinfolk free?
Yes. Walking, stamps and stories are free, with no ads. Pinfolk Plus is an optional subscription coming next. The free app stays free.
When do I get paid?
Earnings start when Pinfolk Plus launches, from each new member’s first paid charge, for 12 months of that subscription. Until then your link is live, taps are counted and your Founding Partner rate is set. We’ll publish the payout method, schedule and minimum before Plus launches.
What makes me a Founding Partner?
Founding Partner spots are open for a limited time, and everyone approved before they close is a Founding Partner. We’ll announce the closing date at least 30 days ahead. Founding Partners keep the 75% rate even if the rate changes for partners who join later. Earnings you’ve already made stay yours.
How do you know who joined through me?
Your link counts taps. Before Plus launches, the app will let new members enter your partner code when they sign up. A member is credited to you when they join with your code, or when we can trace their sign-up to your link. If two partners claim the same member, the first code entered counts. Only new members count.
The rules
- Say clearly, in every post, that you earn money if people subscribe through your link (for example “#ad, I earn from Pinfolk Plus sign-ups”). In videos, say it out loud too.
- No spam, fake reviews or misleading claims, and no paid search ads using the name Pinfolk.
- Pinfolk works across the US, so describe it as an app for anyone, anywhere.
- Earnings come only from real, paid Plus subscriptions. Earnings on refunded purchases are taken back.
Program basics
- Partners must be 18 or older and live in the United States (for now).
- We need a tax form (W-9) before your first payout.
- We may end the program with 30 days’ notice, or end a partnership for abuse. Earnings already made stay yours unless they came from abuse or refunds.
- Full partner terms will be published before Plus launches.
